Axions

Axions and other ultralight particles can behave as coherent fields, dark radiation, compact objects, or structured dark matter. My work follows these fields from their production in the early Universe through nonlinear evolution into miniclusters, streams, and axion stars.

I then connect that cosmological history to observables: resonant haloscopes, radio signals from neutron-star magnetospheres, precision experiments, and multimessenger searches. The aim is to identify signatures that distinguish the underlying particle model from its astrophysical environment.
